What we do
Beacon Training Group is an Active Threat Response and Immediate trauma Care training company, owned and operated by Marine Corps combat veterans and SWAT officers. What started out as a vision to provide more realistic and effective training to first responders, quickly led to our company training many agencies through out the mid-west.
We understand the impact an active threat or mass casualty event has on a community. The importance of being prepared, properly trained and equipped cannot be understated. Therefore, we take a holistic approach to training and preparedness that focuses on training communities as a whole. We offer 9-11 dispatcher/call taker, rapid deployment, police and fire command and control, rescue task force, and civilian active threat response (EBRS) courses, all designed to intertwine with each other. This method of training leaves your community with the skills, knowledge and tools needed to be successful should and active threat or mass casualty incident occur.

why WE do it
We believe all Americans have the inherent right to live a life of freedom and liberty without the interference of violent actors who wish to do them harm. The staff at Beacon Training Group cares deeply about the welfare of our fellow citizens and we are passionately disheartened when an act of violence is perpetrated against innocent individuals going about their day to day lives. The vast majority of our instructors have personally experienced, witnessed, and responded to incidents of violence by serving our communities as military combat veterans, police officers, SWAT officers, and fire fighters. We understand violence at a personal level, and it is our desire to expose our participants to realistic training which will help inoculate them to these events and provide them with the mindset and tactical acumen to overcome what will likely be the worst day of their life if they ever respond to or encounter an active threat event.
We are dedicated to providing first responders, 911 dispatchers and call takers, and civilians who may find themselves within an active threat event with option-based solutions which they can implement no matter what circumstance they may encounter.
