The lockdown only method is an attempt at a “one size fits all” solution to a complex problem. This antiquated response creates a passive mindset in staff and participants that leaves them unprepared to act when the situation absolutely demands it.

Escape, Barricade, Resist, Survive (EBRS) training uses an option based approach to “active threat” events, and is designed to empower school staff to quickly assess a situation, make an informed decision and act decisively, under highly stressful circumstances.

This 8hr course teaches critical thinking skills, immediate trauma care, weapons familiarization and much more. Upon completion, each staff member will be certified in the EBRS response and “Stop the Bleed”.
